What is an HVAC system?
First and foremost, HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. This system heats and cools residential and commercial buildings. You can find a variety of air conditioners anywhere from a residential home to submarines where they provide the comfort of the environment. These systems, which have become more popular in new constructions, use fresh outside air to increase indoor air quality. This ventilation improves the indoor air and eliminates or minimizes humidity, smoke, odors, heat, dust, airborne bacteria, carbon dioxide and other gases. Parts of the air conditioning system, including filters and electrical components, can be used in the same direction for ventilation and air circulation as a manual or intelligent system.
Air conditioning components and parts
There are 9 different parts in your air conditioning system that include air return, filter, exhaust, ducts, electrical elements, outdoor unit, compressor, coil and blower.
Air return
Air return is the part of your system that determines the starting point of the ventilation cycle. This return absorbs air, draws it through a filter and then transfers it to the main system.
Tip: Make sure you dust your products over and over again as waste and dust can easily collect on your filters.
Filtering
The filter is the second part of the air return in which the air flows.
Tip: Make sure you change your filters regularly to keep your system running at maximum efficiency.
Output
Another part of your system is the outlet where the polluted and heavy gases and air created by the ventilation system are released.
Note: Check the chimney annually and clean it if you see foreign objects and elements.

Hot or cold air passes through the ducts.
Tip: Clean the air conditioning ducts every 2 to 5 years so that everything stays in normal and optimal working condition.
Electrical elements
This part of your system can be a little more complicated, but most problems start here.
Note: If your system is not working properly, check the faulty batteries in your thermostat.
Outdoor unit
This is probably the part of your system that you think of when someone mentions the HVAC system. The outdoor unit has a fan that supplies airflow.
Tip: Keep your unit away from soil and plant debris because it can cause serious problems if you suck the plants in your fan.
Compressor
As part of the outdoor unit, the compressor is responsible for converting refrigerant from gas to liquid and sending it to the coils.
Rewind
Usually in another part of the outdoor unit, the coils cool the air as air passes through with a little refrigerant.
Tip: Check your coils annually. If they are frozen, you may want to check the surface of your filter and / or refrigerant.
Blower
The blower passes hot air through the main part of the device.
Note: The more efficiently this air moves, the more durable your system will be.
How long is the air conditioning system?
Now that you know exactly what an air conditioner is made of, you are probably wondering how much a new system will work for you. It depends on the equipment to know how long the system will last. But if you continue with your recommended annual maintenance, your equipment will last for years and years to come.
